Twice blessed. That's how we felt when we heard that the wedding of Janet Kim and Roy Choi had made Bride and Bloom magazine's "Best of Real Weddings" in its Spring 2010 issue that came out beginning of May.
That was actually the second blessing, our first being able to work with wedding planner Carolyn Chen of The Special Day to create the floral design for this magical wedding.
The ceremony and reception were both at The Culver Studios. The look was modern and glamorous with a color palette of yellow, white and black.
Working with both round and rectangular tables, (linen by Wildflower Linen) we created a floral design to complement the feeling the bride and groom wanted to convey -- timeless elegance.

The ceremony oozed old-time glamor. We defined the altar space with natural elements on either side. Simplicity was the word so rather than overdo it with flowers, we accented branches with spheres of white flowers and dangling crystals that mirrored the chandelier.This design aesthetic was continued on the tables...
